When God calls little children
to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question
the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares
with the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world seem
wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So he picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so he takes but a few,
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try
The saddest word mankind knows
will always be "Goodbye"

Our Son, Our Inspiration
your will was amazing, everyone who knew you
thought you were incredible.
Untill we see you again our sweet boy,
you are free now, free from your battle,
free to laugh and play in God's Playground.
Saying that we love you so much would not even
to begin to express the feelings
that we had for you conner.
Thank you for every smile, every giggle,
every day that you blessed our lives
with your unforgettable spirit.
You will always be in our hearts forever.

With everything we are you will be.
Momma, Daddy and Cailee

Please be advised there are pictures under this that show Conner before his service

Photos were placed with Conner, of him with everyone who loved him, along with stuffed animals that were special to him over the years
Divider2

Little sister Cailee gave Conner her favorite 'hello kitty doll' to keep him company, she said. There were also letters placed with conner written by everyone in the family, these were kept unopened and sealed.

A tribute to Conner and his life ,will, and strength was the base of his service

1444 balloons were provided by dreams come true, this was our dream to release one balloon for each day of Conners life . There was a strong burst of wind just as the balloons were all handed out, something we all felt was coming from the heavens above
Divider2

Cailee couldn't handle a big bundle of balloons but she held on to her single blue balloon,
Divider2

It was an incredible site to see, there were so many balloons all the colors of the rainbow, every one who attended held a bunch or two
Divider2

The song "In The Arms Of An Angel" was played as we let the balloons go, all of us together at one time, it was the most incredible thing to see, a perfect ending to a perfect little boys life

The balloons floated away just as Conner peacefully flew away to join God.

We are willing to talk to any families out there that have a child with "Sandhoff" disease especially if you have just received a diagnosis. I know what a scary feeling it was at first to not know what was going on or what was going to happen. You go from having a happy healthy baby, to a severly disabled toddler. Things seem to happen so quickly and they can be so overwhelming. I want to be there for anyone that needs to ask questions, wants information about certain stages in the disease, or just simply needs someone to talk to that will understand what you are going through. Do not hesitate to email me any time or contact me through instant messenger! Sometimes the only ones who really understand are those who have already walked in yours shoes.
You may email me or send me a message through AOL instant messenger
